The Cardiff Municipal Musical Society provided musical theatre programmes for children, older people and those with disabilities. The society existed from 1943 to 1993. They were charged with preparing and putting on performances for the public and providing opportunities for those who love drama. The Executive Committee were the minds behind this society and this item shows the minutes of an Executive Committee meeting.

In this entry, page 217, the Honorary Secretary's Report praised the Orchestral Section for their two performances in the Rearden Smith Lecture Theatre in which Beethoven's Second Piano Concerto and Schubert's C Major Symphony were performed. They had also provided interval music for the International Drama Festival at the Prince of Wales Theatre.
