The Cardiff Municipal Musical Society provided musical theatre programmes for children, older people and those with disabilities. The Society existed from 1943 to 1993. They were charged with preparing and putting on performances for the public and providing opportunities for those who love drama. The Executive Committee were the minds behind this society and this item shows the minutes of an Executive Committee meeting.

In this entry, page 44, the minutes record how the Choral Section is to perform at Pontypridd, as well as at Llandaff Cathedral in aid of the 'Friends of Vellore, India':

"The Secretary of the Choral Section gave details of their programme for the coming season, they had been asked to sing at Pontypridd and would be singing later in the year at Llandaff Cathedral in aid of the 'Friends of Vellore, India'".
