This photograph shows Toni Corlett (at the typewriter) and Liz Gray (on the phone) at the office of Rights and Information Bureau (RIB). On the back of the photograph is written "LIZ GRAY (Left)" and "Toni CORLETT (Right)", together with the stamp of "Western Mail & Echo Ltd", "Copyright" and the date 27 April 1971. Toni Corlett (now known as Antoinette Lorraine) had been a volunteer at BIT, an information and advice service in London. She founded RIB as a 24-hour advice service in 1971 after moving to Cardiff.

"RIB initiated or was involved with a range of projects including Cardiff Cyrenians, the Soup Run, Free School, People Not Psychology, legal clinics, crashpads, Cardiff Claimants' Union, Gay Liberation Front, Women's Action Group and Peace Pledge Union." It even ran a health food kitchen at lunch times. The Bureau was disbanded by January 1974. RIB was succeeded by Cardiff Community Concern which became, and still is, the home of Grassroots, the City Centre Youth Project. This photograph was provided by Antoinette Lorraine while recording an oral history for the VCS Cymru Chronicle Project. Liz Gray was one of the volunteers at the service.
