In particular, Ivy is also connected to the story of love between Tristan and Isolde. The story tells of the two lovers buried in a separate graves. Overnight, a tree grows from each grave, finally entwining. Although the trees were repeatedly cut down, the plant grows back time after time, showing the persistent and determined love between the two.
