The wedding of Lieutenant George Lewis R.A., son of John Lewis, Brynhafod, Cefn-Coed, Abermule, and Joan E. Gilbert, Station House Abermule, daughter of Edward Gilbert, at Moriah Church, Abermule. The bride was attended by Norah Woosnam and the best man was the groom's brother, Private Harold Lewis. The service was attended by a guard of honour, formed by the 1st Abermule Girl Guides, of which the bride is Lieutenant.
