Aerial photograph showing Holyhead with football ground in the forground. This is now the site of the ferry terminal for passengers travelling to and from Dublin, until the 1960s it was afootball ground. With superb views out into the Irish Sea and with the hustle and bustle of an important port across the harbour, it wouldhave been a unique playing experience.
