March came in like a lion. Welsh political union. Welsh to Washington to see Garfield's Inauguration. Irish in our town who can speak Welsh. Henry Rees, one of the Methodist stalwarts. Diptheria was very bad during the winter. Welsh families suffering through loss of their little ones. Ice made a big hole in dam #1. South Side residents fear a shortage of water but the danger is over by now. Many running for City council. Hon. Miles S. Humphreys lost the race for Mayor. Welsh brass Band coming along well-led by Prof. Kirk. E. M. Beynon of the Press. Politicians: T. M. Bayne; John I. Mitchell. Iron mills running regularly. DIGON GWIR.
