Prof. T. J. Davies of Stubenville, Ohio is paying a weekly visit as he has many pupils around the city- William Nathaniel of Market Strcet is in the hospital for cataract surgery on his right eye. He had the same surgery four months ago on his left eye which was successful and he can see clearly again. Many people me without work in this neighborhood, like other neighborhoods these days. [t is expected ttrat things will get better after the holidays.... There was a successful supper at the new Baptist chapel on Davis Ave., N. S. on Thursday night, November 19. Dr. H. Herbert Parry ofNew York lectured at the Presbyerian chapel on McClure Ave., Woods Run last Monday. He spoke aboutthe life of the Hon. D. Lloyd George with moving pictures of various places in North and South Wales. Mr. Parry is a spirited speaker.
