Llanrwst Town Hall

Disgrifiadau

Llanrwst Town Hall, originally built in 1661, was situated in the middle of the town's main road. It was stone-built, with round-headed openings on the first floor, and a diamond shaped clock and set of stone steps on the front gable. The roof was pitched with a bell-cote on top. The top of the basement windows, where the corm market was held, were just visible above the road. It was demolished in 1963.
This image is part of a photographic survey of the Town Hall produced by George Bernard Mason as part of the National Buildings Record in 1952.
