HANDWEAVING
One of the most interesting exhibits in the Home, Arts & Industries Exhibition in London last month was that of handloom weaving by Mr. E. R. Williams of Denbigh (Wales), who is the only silk hand-loom weaver in the Principality. His family have been silk hand-loom weavers for 400 years. He married the other day, and that same day he brought his bride to London, and she helped him to fix up the loom at the Exhibition, where she assisted him to work it. Queen Mary took a great interest in their work, and she wrote to the happy couple in appreciative terms, wishing them also long life and much happiness.
