Peter remembers Apollo 8 going round the moon and seeing the Earth Rise. He watched the launch on a coin operated (2 shilling) TV using his pocket money to see the whole event. Became a professional astronomer because of it. Recalls some of the music and fashion on the times. Talks about being friends with Neil Armstrong's son, Neil's visit to England and the crash of the Lunar Landing Research Vehicle in 1968 (known as the flying bedstead).
