Ernie James is sitting on the motorcycle. BOTTOM PHOTOGRAPH: Trailer pump with (left to right) Ned Worthing, Fred Worthing, Edgar Lewis, Ernie JAmes and Dennis Price. A trailer pump was then bought by Rhayader ruralndistrict council in 1939. This statement sggests that the photographs precede that date.
