During the 1960s and 1970s, Peter Sturdgess who had served in the RAF during WW2 flew gliders at RAF Cosford but also qualified as pilot with piston-engined aircraft. This is a shot taken by Peter of RAF Cosford's Auster - which had itself 'served' during WW2.
