Isaac Venn - I am a Special Constable. I
was so on the Monday of the Riots
the 4th November instant - I
was door Keeper of this House
when the Chartists came here-
I saw a man amongst the others
about four yards from
the door - He had a Gun in hand-
He looked towards the door and
shook his head - he held his
Gun out in his one hand-
I have this day (21 November)
seen the Prisoner Thomas Llewellin-
He has the same coloured clothes
on as the Man I saw at the
Westgate Inn - and he looks
like the same person but -
I am not certain he is the same
man - [signed] Isaac Ven[n].
