That on Sunday the Third of November
last I saw Jones of Pontypool pass through
Tredegar he was on a Bay Horse rather
small the Horse (or Mare) I do not know which
had been sweating a good deal I looked
particularly at him as his Horse was
sweating very much This was about four
or half past four o'clock Jones was dressed
in a Pilot Cloth Coat Jones spoke to
Three men in front of me Oliver Jenkins
James Southway and Jacob Randall,
three Men now run away from Tredegar

States I recollect Sunday the Third of
November last I saw Jones of Pontypool
I know him well I have seen him twice
on the Stage once in Dukes Town and
once by Zepheniah Williams's I saw him
pass through Tredegar on Sunday the Third
of November. I was coming up from the
Tredegar Company's Stables it was about
four or half past four o'clock I had no Watch
William Woodward was behind me and
Three other Men Oliver Jenkins, James Southway,
and Jacob Randall, Jones was riding
on a small Bay Horse on a trot and
fast as he passed me he Galloped -
