Monmouthshire to wit BE IT REMEMBERED That at a Session of Oyer and Terminer and Gaol Delivery of our Lady the Queen
holden at Monmouth in and for the county of Monmouth on Tuesday the tenth day of December in the Third Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lady VICTORIA by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland
Queen Defender of the Faith. BEFORE The Right Honourable Sir Nicolas Conyngham Tindal Knight Chief Justice
of our said Lady the Queen of Her Court of Common Pleas The Right Honourable Sir James Parke Knight one of the
Barons of our said Lady the Queen of Her Court of Exchequer and Sir John Williams Knight one of the Justices of our
said Lady the Queen assigned to hold Pleas before the Queen Herself and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lady the
Queen assigned by Letters Patent of our said Lady the Queen under Her Great Seal of the United Kingdom of Great
Britain and Ireland to them the said Justices before named and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lady the Queen and
to any two of them directed (of whom one of them the said Sir Nicolas Conyngham Tindal Sir James Parke Sir John
Williams and Ebenezer Ludlow Serjeant at Law among others in the said Letters Patent named our said Lady the Queen willed
to be one) to inquire more fully the truth by the Oath of good and lawful Men of the county aforesaid and by other ways
means and methods by which they should or might better know (as well with liberties as without) by whom the truth
of the matter might be the better known and inquired into of all Treasons Misprisions of Treason Insurrections Rebellions
Counterfeitings Clippings Washings False Coinings and other Falsities of the Money of Great Britain and other Kingdoms
or Dominions whatsoever and of all Murthers Felonies Manslaughters Killings Burglaries Rapes of Women unlawful
Meetings and Conventicles unlawful uttering of Words Assemblies Misprisions Confederacies False Allegations Trespasses
Riots Routs Retentions Escapes Contempts Falsities Negligencies Concealments Oppressions Champarties
Deceits and all other evil Doings Offences and Injuries whatsoever and also the Accessaries of them within the county
aforesaid (as well within liberties as without) by whomsoever and in what manner so ever done committed or perpetrated
and by who or to whom when how and after what manner And of all other Articles and Circumstances concerning the
Premises and every of them in any manner whatsoever and the said Treasons and other Premises according to the
Laws and Customs of England for this time to hear and determine by the Oath of

good and lawful Men of the said county of Monmouth now here sworn and charged to inquire for our said Lady the Queen
