I am a Special Constable of Tredegar
On Monday the 4th of November Inst. I
saw the prisoner Evan Edwards come out
of Mr Homfray's Grounds with Wm.
Homan Superintendent of Police Edwards
the Prisoner walked towards me and
said it would be a bad job I asked
him what could possess him to cast
Bullets he said that he had attended
the Lodge on the Sunday Night and
that they would let him free from
going to Newport with them if
he would stop at home and make
Bullets in consequence of the Illness
of his Wife and that he did so as
he thought to get a few Shillings for
his family that he had made them
and would make them again it
