Disgrifiad

Trawsgrifiad:

Dearest Lillie
We have just heard we are going to the 2nd Batt. of the regiment, direct letters etc. to me there. B.E.F. France as before. The crossing was awfully rough – I went through it but recovered very quickly. Clarence was at Folkestone and I bade him goodbye at Boulogne. I enclose a cheque for sundry things: get me one cake every fortnight and two tins of 3 Nuns. You might include a tin of butterscotch as well. The socks are necessary if you have them ready and thank you very much for making them. Give my address to Lucy and N. I will write them all soon. Feel very splendid, it augurs well for the future. I stayed at the Piccadilly on Sunday with an uncle of one of the subs going out, he paid all the expenses. There is nothing much to tell you. It is tiring continually messing about with our kit.
Fondest love to all
Your loving brother
Harry
