Disgrifiad

Erthygl bapur newydd o The Cambria Daily Leader, a gyhoeddwyd ar 01/11/1913, yn disgrifio fel y bu i siarc a morfil gael eu golchi i'r lan ym Mhenclawdd, ac iddynt gael eu lladd yn y man gan bysgotwyr cocos lleol.

Mae'r toriad papur newydd yn darllen fel a ganlyn: "PENCLAWDD FISHERMEN KILL UN-WELCOME VISITORS. Considerable excitement was caused in the Penclawdd district quite recently when a whale and a shark were washed ashore by the tide. The discoveries were made by several fishermen, who were at the time on the look-out for cockles, and it can be imagined that they were extremely surprised when they saw these monsters in shallow waters on the foreshore. A cry was given, and with hay forks the two fish were killed. The shark, it might be said, made several attempts to attack the men."
