Disgrifiad

Kevin Hawke is a keen diver and Living Seas Wales volunteer. This image is taken from his dive log and records a dive near at "The Dump", Gelliswick, on the 27th of July 1997. During the dive he observed a variety of marine wildlife which he describes in the "Dive Details" section of the log book (transcribed below).
Dive Details: "Intended to dive the wreck Behar, but there was a fishing boat there so decided on the 'Dump' where tankers discharge rubbish. Went down with Delyth and Rhian but lost Rhian on the way down. Delyth sent up her delayed S.M.B. which Rhian used to find us after about 10 mins - couldn't see a thing! So we surfaced together. Then Delyth and I dropped in again over some rocks - much better, lots of nooks and crannies to look into and under, lots of life - anemones, sponges and crabs. Nice and relaxed dive with limited vis - had to keep an eye on Delyth throughout not to get separated. Ascended S.M.B. line to ensure we stayed together."
