Dive Log - North Wall, Skomer 4th April 1999

Disgrifiadau

Kevin Hawke is a keen diver and Living Seas Wales volunteer. This image is taken from his dive log and records a dive near the North Wall, Skomer 4th April 1999. During the dive he observed a variety of marine wildlife which he describes in the "Dive Details" section of the log book (transcribed below).
Dive Details: What a ride talk about White Knuckles. Intended going to Grassholm attempted to round the North side of Skokholm but it was to rough so we came around the South side and agreed to dive the North side of Skomer. Not very good vis but an enjoyable dive all the same. Plenty of life about, a number of large edible Crabs out in the open, lots of Squat Lobsters and lots of juvenile Wrasse - one large one in a hole in the rocks. Used S.M.B. throughout the dive ascended close in to the rocks a number of our divers floating about the boat was some way away.
