Disgrifiadau

Kevin Hawke is a keen diver and Living Seas Wales volunteer. This image is taken from his dive log and records a dive near the Loch Shiel Wreck, Thorne Island 7th September 1997. During the dive he observed a variety of marine wildlife which he describes in the "Dive Details" section of the log book (transcribed below).
Dive Details: Removed the detonators from the shells while anchored at Thorne Island waiting for divers to return - Sue had lent her weight belt. Descended the anchor line, took the S.M.B with me. A short swim North to find the wreck Sue leading into the kelp went across the top of the wreck, lots of holes and overhangs, found an old clay pipe, lots of bricks of standard sizes and a lot larger, a few bits of broken glass and stoneware, nothing of note. Saw a couple of Ballan Wrasse, not much other life about . Enjoyable, leisurely dive , handled the S.M.B effectively used it to control my buoyancy and to recover a boat
