Disgrifiad

Kevin Hawke is a keen diver and Living Seas Wales volunteer. This image is taken from his dive log and records a dive near the Stack Rocks, St Brides Bay on 20th July 1997. During the dive he observed a variety of marine wildlife which he describes in the "Dive Details" section of the log book (transcribed below).
Dive Details: Rushed down to St Brides Bay. Then found out that those already on the boat would be doing a 20m dive assessment on Stack Rocks over from Little Haven. Hanging about on the beach. Got kitted up ready, when they came back Alan took Phil, John Tosser, Barry and myself back out to Stack - Low water! Dropped in on the eastside, down into kelp. Tended to rush about to fast. Lots of fish, singularly and in shoals, Barry caught a dog fish which he brought across to me. Went in to close to the rocks, lost any depth and ended up in thick kelp. Spotted a small, soft, white anemone? on the kelp. 'Remember to slow down!'
