CEWC - the Welsh Council for Education in World Citizenship - led efforts to advance global education in Wales from 1942 onwards, working closely alongside the United Nations Association and from 1973, the Welsh Centre for International Affairs, from the Temple of Peace in Cardiff. From 2014, the 3 organisations merged into WCIA.
