These photographs of villages in Ceredigion are part of the Arthur Chater collection of around 4,000 photographs. Arthur, a prominent botanist, photographed towns, villages, churches, houses, mills and landscapes while travelling around Cardiganshire, Merionnydd, Montgomeryshire and Carmarthenshire between 1955-1965
