Atomfa Wylfa

The nuclear power station at Wylfa, built in 1963 was one of the first-generation stations built by the CEGB. Opened in 1972, it was set to be decommissioned in 2010. Latest developments are that a new reactor will now be built by the Japanese company Hitachi
