A joint interview with former miners Peter Hemmings and John Sharpe conducted by Joan Jelley at the Fleur De Leys institute on the 19th July 2018. In this interview Peter and John recall their working lives as miner with particular reference to working conditions, the likelihood of accidents and attitudes towards disability.
