Gelligron Road and James St before and during road works
This first photograph also appears on p69 of the book 'Around Pontardawe' with the text; - "Road widening, James St, October 1936.
Looking towards Pontardawe with 62 James St on the extreme right. On the left is the entrance to 'Brynheulog' with the Lewis' car in view."
This photograph below also appears on p69 of the book 'Around Pontardawe' with the text;-""Road widening, James St, October 1936.......Looking towards Gelligron. On top left is 'Glynteg' built by F W Gilbertson in 1890. It is a private nursing home today....."
