Gwaun-cae-gurwen 21 These 2 photographs contributed by Gareth Morgan of GCG (Feb 2012) 1924 boat trip coming back from Ilfracombe Gareth Morgan's grandfather John Pedrick is the tall man on the right with a flat cap, the man on his right is Benjamin Davies (Factory), the lady on John's left Bessie (Factory) also in the photo is Gareth's grandmother Hetty (holding Baby Betty?) and Bessie's husband Arron (Small man cloth cap). Yr Urdd, GCG -May 19th 1937 Outside the old Cae Arms, GCG - Gareth Morgan's grandfather is in the centre in his work clothes, going to work at Cwmllynfell colliery. On the rightcan be seen the back of Melvin Jenkins the son of D.Jenkins 'the Prince' outside the shop.
