Photo shows the exterior of St Andrews Church on the main road in Llantwit Fardre in the 1970s. The church was constructed out of corrugated steel panels. The church was demolished in the 1990s and the land sold to build a private house.

I am afraid the dates are slightly wrong here. The Church was still functioning in the 1990's as I was an alter boy there on the day Princess Diana passed away. Father Melville K Jones was the vicar at the time. However, when demolished the land was indeed sold for a private house development.
