Disgrifiadau

Adysgrif:

"Carmarthen, 10 Sept., 1843.

My dear Sir,

I see in all the maps a place marked "Poor House," to the S.E. of Lanon, and not far from it. Pray let me know what sort of a place it is, and whether it would be possible to use it for Troops. It appears to be about a mile 1/2 from Lanon to the left of the road to Pontardulais. I find Chambers has had another set of stacks burnt last night. We have sent two parties of Cavalry out, but now it rains ten times more than it did this morning.

Yours very truly,
Geo. Rice Trevor."
