Disgrifiad
The Book of Honour for the Consecration and Unveiling of the War Memorial in Memory of Fallen Comrades, 1939-1945, at the Synagogue, Cathedral Road, Cardiff, November 4th, 1951 includes the order of service at the unveiling as well as the photographs and names of the Jewish servicemen from Cardiff who died during the Second World War. This War Memorial was commissioned by the Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen and Women in Cardiff. The Book of Honour is part of the Collection of Sydney Tapper-Jones, Town Clerk of Cardiff City Council from 1942 to 1970. He assembled this personal collection of printed material and photographs relating mostly to Cardiff civic events.
