Cardiff Bay Barrage Bill: Mini-Barrage Alternative', Cardiff, 1988

Disgrifiadau

A study published by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and used by Cardiff Friends of the Earth and the Cardiff Naturalists' Society groups to voluntarily provide information for the public on alternatives to the Cardiff Bay barrage construction project.

The Cardiff Naturalists' Society was established in 1867 and helps to promote public engagement with the sciences. The group put on public lectures, events, and day trips, usually in order to raise funds. They are known for having helped to raise a significant amount of funding for the building of the Welsh National Museum. The group is still active today and is largely run by volunteer work.

Friends of the Earth Cardiff is the local chapter of Friends of the Earth Cymru, a volunteer organisation that works on local, regional, and national environmental campaigns.
