Disgrifiad

A booklet created by Friends of the Earth and the Cardiff Naturalists' Society detailing the importance of wildlife and environmental conservation, particularly in Wales.

Friends of the Earth group in Cardiff is a volunteer group that focuses on activism, education, and community engagement, especially in regards to environmental concerns, such as climate change, pollution, and wildlife conservation.

The Cardiff Naturalists' Society was established in 1867 and helps to promote public engagement with the sciences. The group put on public lectures, events, and day trips, usually in order to raise funds. They are known for having helped to raise a significant amount of funding for the building of the Welsh National Museum. The group is still active today and is largely run by volunteer work.
