A souvenir booklet created by the members of the Grangetown Local History Society (GLHS) and dedicated to Susan and Laura to commemorate the launch of a first book titled 'Grangetown Local History Society'. The booklet Includes photographs from the book launch. The GLHS book was published in 2013 and launched at an event, as a celebration of the volunteers' hard work for the benefit of Grangetown community's future generations.

Grangetown Local History Society documents the history of Grangetown and is comprised of a group of volunteers with an interest in local history. Established in 1997, the Society displays photographs, slideshows, and audio memories at local community events and fairs, including the annual Grangetown Festival. The Society's volunteers have also taken part in local and family history fairs and exhibited at the local library. They are also involved in an ongoing audio history project, recording memories from Grangetown people, and collecting photographs of the local area. The Society has published a series of books on the Grangetown area.

The Society continues its voluntary service with recording history of Grangetown in various ways, through presentation books, events, and an online presence.
