Disgrifiadau
A Cardiff Women's Aid annual report for 1993/94: 'The hand that rocks the cradle should also rock the boat'.
Cardiff Women's Aid is domestic and sexual violence and abuse specialist agency and a member of Welsh Women's Aid. It has deep roots in Cardiff and has served its communities for over 45 years.
The organisation, first named Cardiff & Vale Women’s Aid, was born out of the women’s liberation movement, which was powered by the feminist critique of violence against women. For the timeline of the Women’s Liberation Movement see: https://design.cardiffwomensaid.org.uk/second-wave-feminism/.
Welsh Women’s Aid (WWA) was founded in 1978 to campaign and lobby for improvements in public policy and government legislation in relation to women and children experiencing domestic abuse in Wales. WWA is the national umbrella organisation representing local Women's Aid Groups situated throughout Wales. The member groups provide direct services for women and children who have experienced or are experiencing domestic abuse.
