"... home made Christmas card. One of the fellows had a couple of cards & I had first had the picture taken at a little place when some of us were out walking.
"Thanks for the dollar. It sure looks good to see good old U.S. money but don't send any more for we can't use it here. Nothing but Yen.
"I better be hitting the sack so will close for now. Am feeling fine but want to come home.
