Disgrifiad

An article from the South Wales Echo advising that, for safety reasons, Scouts are no longer allowed to knock on doors and ask for jobs during the annual Job Week (formerly known as Bob-A-Job Week). The article states that Bob-A-Job Week started in 1949 and the title was changed in 1971 to Scout Job Week when the shilling disappeared with decimalisation. The week raises "money for the movement to be spent on halls, equipment and perpetuating scouting".
