A report of Friend South Wales to HIV/AIDS health promotion group, regarding their Sexual Health Promotion Campaign, organised on March 1995. Three events took place, a Choose Safer Sex stall at Club X, Priscilla Party advertising safe sex at Llys, Tal-y-Bont, and the Intervol Caravan at the Hayes.

Cardiff Friend (later Friend South Wales) was formed to give support to people who are homosexual, bisexual or in doubt of their sexual identity. The aim of the organisation was to assist and counsel people (mainly through the telephone helpline) and to advance the education of the general public, public agencies and the professions.
