My father-in-law was born in the South Wales mining town of Llanhilleth in 1920 and in the mid 1940s he auditioned for and was accepted by the Sadler's Wells Opera Company in London. He wrote his story in the 1990s. “My musical Times” The first half deals with growing up in Llanhilleth and his time as an opera singer. The second half may be of less interest as it deals with his life in South East England and Cornwall.
