The front page of the Cardiff Women's Aid Annual Report 1993/1994: 'The Hand That Rocks The Cradle Should Also Rock The Boat'. Welsh Women's Aid (WWA) was founded in 1978 to help and support women and children who were victims of domestic abuse. WWA also campaigns and lobbies for improvements in public policy and government legislation relating to women and children experiencing domestic abuse in Wales.---------------The Chronicle Project is a community heritage project supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and run by VCS Cymru with the aims to document the history of volunteering in Cardiff, from 1914 to 2014.
