There is a pressing need to articulate a transcendental response to the ecological crisis. This is vital and necessary if we are to treat the world as a living whole. It calls for responses to environmental issues that include teaching spiritual awareness and/or practice. This is an account of one such educational response to the Welsh islands of Skokholm and Skomer.
