Stewart Bladen Nelson Bolton, Midshipman, Royal Navy - HMS Indefatigable. Son of Lieutenant Colonel Arthur Heely and Mary Bolton of Elm House, Laugharne. He died on 31 May 1916, aged 18, when his battle cruiser was hit by shells from a German ship in the Battle of Jutland. His brother John Ritso Nelson Bolton, Lieutenant, Royal Field Artillery, died of wounds in France on 27th September 1915. Both are remembered on the Laugharne War memorials.
