A plaque on the wall says; "In Memoriam. Syndicat central des N'gociants Importateurs de charbons en France. Comit' central des Fabricants d'agglom'r's de houille du Littoral Fran'ais." Roughly translated this means; "In memory. Central Trade Union of Importers of Coal in France. Central Committee of Manufacturers of coal agglomerates of the French coast."
