This course was known as 'Class 4'. Their initial training course ran from 10th February 1969 until 9th May 1969. After training they would have returned to their respective police force areas.

The trainee officers are from various police forces across Wales i.e. Glamorgan, Gwent, Dyfed-Powys, Cardiff City.
