Percy Adolph, Private, Welsh Regiment Percy enlisted at Haverfordwest. Percy died on February 17th, less than 1 month after his arrival in France, aged just 18. County families of Pembrokeshire met at the Shire Hall with the local branch of the Red Cross. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Henry Owen (deputy Lord Lieutenant), and the principal speaker was Lady St. Davids, who said: “To help now, we need wisdom as well as willingness-stern determination to stick to the work we undertake-working is nobler than weeping, and a thousand times more useful. Every effort should be made to encourage Home Nursing and First Aid classes.
