Inscription B58: here/ lie the Earthly remains of/ DAVID JAMES/ late of Aberpaithnant in this Parifh/ who departed this life the 12th, Day of/ May 1807 in the 84th Year of his Age/ HERE also were deposited the/ Remains of MARGARET JAMES wife of/ the above named DAVID JAMES she/ died November the 1st, 1809./ Aged 85 years./ Yr Ion pan ddelo'r ennyd, - ar ddiwedd,/ O'r Ddaear a'n cyfyd;/ Bydd dorau Beddau y Byd,/ Ar un gair yn agoryd./
