I was at college in Carmarthen when the snow hit. I decided it might be a bit of an adventure to make the journey back home to Llangeitho, on foot of course because I didn't have a car. It took 2 days in the end, having to stay overnight in Lampeter.

The snow had drifted into all the roads, but very little settled on the open fields. Helicopters brought supplies to places like Penuwch which was cut off for at least 10 days.
