Aerial view of Pwllheli, my town of youth where my roots are and where I grew up in the 50's and 60's before leaving to work in various places, near and far. There was not a great deal to do in those days, but we , as kids, managed to find plenty to occupy us without causing damage or distress to others. There's an old verse in Welsh that relates to Pwllheli - "Pwllheli, pwll halen, Y pwll gosaf i pwll Uffern"; presumably this refers to the hard times experienced in the town over the ages.
