Porthdinllaen
Disgrifiadau
Aerial view of the Porth Dinllaen peninsula near Nefyn. Site of a former coastal 'hillfort'. This beautiful little bay was a serious contender for the link by boat to Ireland, but was beaten to the post by Holyhead. When I was seventeen, I would visit the Ty Coch public house down on the beach with three of my friends on a Saturday night, as is the want of underage teenagers. There used to be a game of bar skittles at the pub which was always good fun. The peninsula was a golf course at that time and we would park at the club's car park and walk the footpath through the sand-dunes down to the pub. Photo taken 26 June 2005.
